The Octopus Hall of Fame

The Octopus Hall of Fame is a place for any artists who contribute some of their existing portfolio to accompany some of my stories. I hope to create a free platform for these artists to promote their work.

If you see any story or poem on my website that has inspired you, or if your work shares some themes or motifs with my stories or poems on the website, feel free to send your work (including a title) and a short bio to me at jenmcwhirter124@googlemail.com.

Thank you to all my contributors! Your support means so much to me.

McKenzie Clark is a senior at Lewis and Clark High School, Washington. She is passionate about all forms of art but focuses on photography, cinematography, poetry, drawing, and painting. Her photography appears alongside The End, Garden and I Know The Effects of Gravity on my website as well as pieces published on MinusPaper, Still Life and Love Letter. She can be found online @wanderesskenzie on Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, Tumblr, and WordPress.

Sunshine Herbert is a freelance illustrator/artist/designer based in Melbourne. Her style is whimsical, but flexible and has extensive experience as a graphics designer. She has also illustrated childrens books such as Monty C Turtle Learns How To Swim. One of Sunshine’s portraits has appeared alongside my short story, “Doll” which was published on MinusPaper. She is always looking for more projects and you can check out her work on her website and keep up with her antics on her Facebook.

Kevin Main is a Photographer from Glasgow. He specialises in production shots and candid photography. His love of photography is like a child Christmas, pure joy. If you want to find more of his photography or contact for work you can find his Facebook page here. He is also on Twitter.

Nina Soto is a self taught artist, whose paintings appeared with my poem and flash fiction Self Aware? and Nightclubbing (which was published on Minus Paper). Most of her artwork is usually self expressive often times making cosmic pieces or characters from her imagination. She is currently featured as an artist at a gallery called Customit AFS in Reading PA, she performs live art at special events for the locals and plans on having her own studio to produce even more work. You can check out her work on her Facebook page, Art By Nina or on her DeviantArt page.
